President Neil’s quote was “Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us daily”. Author, Sally Koch. Pablo Diemecke played O Canada and Irene Davie recited the Selkirk Grace.

Sergeant at Arms
Tom Croft levied fines to all those who weren’t wearing a Rotary pin and all who didn’t eat string beans at lunch. He also fined Dallas Chapple for having her mail delivered to Tav’s address. As well, he fined Ron Beyer for not having his new members sign-up sheet with him.

The club sang happy birthday to Pablo Diemecke.

Happy & Sad Dollars

Jack Petrie was happy that the Gospel Choir’s Concert is sold out, while Tom Croft happily celebrated his granddaughter’s first birthday.

If anyone else would like to be on the committee or if they have a nomination, please see one of them. Perry Bamji indicated that the International Committee members are looking to increase the club’s purchase of Shelter Boxes from 2 to 4. Money has already been allocated for two boxes. The other two boxes will be funded by a “Book of Graces.” Club members are asked to submit a favorite grace (one only per club member) to Perry via email as an MS Word document by December 15th. For more information contact Perry.

Jim Force up-dated the club on the Kids Kits. While our club has received its allotment of tote boxes, not all clubs have, so the packing date has been postponed to the new year. However, we would like to fill our kits by the end of December. Bring what items you have to club meetings and Jim or Wolf will collect them.
